Inspiration for Creating Antheion

The name Antheion is a derivation of the Greek Grace and nature goddess named Antheia.  Antheia was depicted on Athenian vase painting as one of the Graces (Charites) that often accompanied the goddess Aphrodite.

Her name itself derives from the Greek word "anthos," meaning blossom or flower.  Her symbols are gold colored items.  I felt that her name and her background would be an appropriate theme to adopt in presenting premium gourmet foods such as honey and olive oil that are created from blossoms.
